People that say they can't sleep on an airplane usually find a way when the trip literally absorbs the entire night. If you leave Chicago at 4:30 p.m. Central Time you will arrive in Munich, Germany about 10:30 a.m. the next day. About a 9 hour actual flight time and a 7 hour time loss helps define the size of that pond that separates North America and Europe. We all know how comfortable airline seating is, but, as you begin to feel the urge to get up and walk around , let me assure you that it was truly worth it. more

  Perhaps a computer card entry key to open your hotel door is nothing new. There is at least one hotel that I now know of that uses that same key as a master switch to activate all your electrical switches, lights, and outlets in your room. Yes, without it nothing works! Of course, when you leave your room, and take the key for your later return, everything shuts off! I'm describing The Gran Hotel Havana in Barcelona, Spain. I also found it interesting that when using the elevator, the ground floor or lobby level was not first floor ... or lobby ... but rather Floor 0. more



PDCA International Relations Committee
The Committee shall solicit PDCA member participation to develop relationships with international counterparts, promote international events, assist in organizing delegations, and encourage communications and exchange of association business information.

4- Participate in International Conferences and Publicize International Events to PDCA members
5- Encourage exchanges with the International Community

Committee Goal & Objectives
1- Organize Special Session of International Attendees at PDCA National Convention
2- Provide International Contacts when requested
3- Report to PDCA results of International meetings
4- Communicate to Painting Industry through publications and web site the ongoing activities.
5- Maintain database on International Contacts
