Each year, PDCA members are recognized for their outstanding achievements in the industry. Awards are presented at the Painting and Decorating Expo. Click here to view the 2013 award winners.
PDCA will accept all Award applications and nominations from August 31 – December 31, 2012. Every submission will receive a confirmation of receipt from PDCA National. There are several ways to submit an application. Please choose from the following options:

The PIPP Awards, the very first national awards to honor the very best of the painting Industry is PDCA's way of paying tribute to the work of professional painting and decorating contractor. This National recognition for a company's best work also honors craftsmen by showcasing their stellar work among their industry peers from across the nation.

PDCA's Community Improvement Awards are presented to groups or members that demonstrate the highest level of community support through voluntary efforts.

The PDCA Insurance, Safety and Loss Control Committee established the Safety Achievement Awards in 1995 to recognize the efforts of member companies who have made a commitment to safety in the workplace by demonstrating and providing evidence of their success in controlling accidents and losses within their companies.

This award was established to celebrate a craftsman who meets the criteria for a master craftsman. Nominees should demonstrate an ongoing level of perfection and thorough knowledge of the PDCA's Industry Standards and Craftsman Operating Procedures.

The Recruiter of the Year Award is presented to a member who has, through exceptional efforts, made an outstanding contribution to membership growth in a Forum, Council or Chapter.
Associate members are the suppliers and manufacturers who provide the products and services needed to conduct business. They are a vital part of PDCAís success. Associate Member support ranges from technical to financial. The Associate Member of the Year Award is presented to the company representative who has consistently supported PDCA in its efforts to improve the coatings application industry.
This award is presented for recognition of extraordinary humanitarian achievements by members. These achievements may or may not be involved with the painting or decorating industry.
This award has been established for outstanding, meritorious association and industry service. The purpose of the award is to properly recognize perseverance and extraordinary effort expended in the interest of PDCA for the benefit of its membership. Any member of PDCA in good standing, staff, service provider, consultant, or legal counsel, as well as chapter, council, and forum executives including retired individuals may be eligible for the award. Candidates must have exemplified the highest qualities of personal character and professionalism in the conduct of his/her affairs, contributed outstanding service deserving of commendation, including advancing the ideals and the standards of excellence as prescribed in the PDCA Code of Ethics, significantly furthered the achievement of PDCA objectives, and brought the image of PDCA and our industry to more favorable notice.
This is the highest attainable award presented by PDCA. Candidates shall be active or honorary members. Staff, affiliate and associate members are not eligible. The candidate shall have worked extensively on behalf of PDCA on a nationwide scale in volunteer or appointed capacity. The candidate should embody the integrity, professionalism and devotion to advancing the goals of PDCA that were exhibited by Mr. Quilici.
