Kevin, Steve, Tom, & other interested parties:

As you all probably know, I go by the "handle" of sigco & have for many years on these boards. Also as you all may know, my name is Dave Siegner. I'm a painting contractor in Portland Or., and have chosen to serve our industry's only trade association through my involvement on a national level with PDCA. I'm currently Treasurer.

I have some questions for you all:

1.) Kevin, who is your national board rep? What has he/she told you about what's happening in the areas of your concern?

2.) Tom, all of the national associates were offered the same opportunities that ICI was. Why didn't SW take advantage? Are you aware that several others you've named are interested in partnering with PDCA in a mutually advantageous strategic alliance? Who is your rep on the National Associates Committee? Is he/she keeping you abreast of current developments?

3.) Steve, I think you may be aware of the motion that was presented at the Annual Business Meeting in Las Vegas, concerning the offering of limited free memberships in order to provide potential members exposure to our offerings in order to bring more long term members into PDCA. It was discussed in detail prior to it's passing. Since then the offering's been made available to a number of Councils &/or Chapters who wanted to see what it could do for their areas. If you weren't there, I certainly can understand. Perhap we at national haven't done as good a job as we could in terms of communicating. If that's the case, I will do whatever needs be done to increase awareness. In the meantime, who was your delegate to the Annual Business meeting. Are you aware of whether they've communicated what occurred to your membership?

To all:

No deal has been made with Home Depot. Please help me in my efforts by enabling me to know where you are getting this perfect example of misinformation.

I'm interested in speaking to anyone would like to discuss their concerns. You can easily e-mail me, or contact me or any other of the EC members through our site.

We all are truly passionate about PDCA, our industry & it's future. That's precisely why I'm interested in your informed remarks.

TIA.................

Hi Dave
Yes I know who you are, we had a good conversation in January at the National Board meeting. I was at the National Board meeting and I do remember voting on the limited dues. I guess there is alot of confusion and miscommunication as to what the program would be and our council's ED was just notified of any such program from National 2 weeks ago. I was on my honeymoon and was unaware of it untill this morning when I called the office. I am also confused when you say "have they communicated what happend to your membership", who is they and what membership?...mine personally or the Golden State Council whom I represent?

Dave please give me a call at your convienience toll free at 866-302-9042 or email me at

I am all for advancing PDCA and bettering my competition and I hope everyone else is too.

Thanks in Advance
