I am looking for anyone to send me there template for their proposals. More specifically I am looking for anyone who has an estimating form that serves as their proposal contract as well. We are wasting too much time in estimating jobs and then coming back to the office and typing up proposals. If anyone relates to what I am talking about I would appreciate your help. I have tried to put a template together myself, but it if taking too long and is increasingly frustrating as I keep leaving things out and am haveing to continually ammend it. If anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.
Also, if anyone knows where such companies like varsity painting or university painting or any other student painting company who gets set up by a home office and is set out on their own, if anyone has access to their proposal or bidding forms, that might be close to what we're looking for. We are not looking for estimating programs or any kind of software. We simply need to make a form that fits our company that our estimators can take and write up a full detailed estimate for a job, and then can give to the customers as the proposal contract. We have seen these forms from our local competitors and they have carbon copy paper so they also get a copy, but we would like anyone else with a similar form to please help us in developing ours.

we use typed proposals and hand written proposals(3 copy) for any bid we can close or is 1 page or under. we use the same fine print type set on the back of all three copies from our printer 295.00 per 1000.i only bought small amounts and made any changes to the wording until i got it correct for our company. hand writing some proposals on the spot raised our sales numbers.check with your printer for sample copies that might help (if your printer can not help you it might be time for a new one) or check into the new mac mentoring program

The brushworks,
Take a look at this software program.
http://www.paintestimating.com/ It is fairly inexpensive, and may fit your needs for estimating and also as a proposal template.

Then Why would you want one of there forms?
I use quickbooks on a laptop pre enter typical job cost ,add my own logo, of course you add state legal forms. I also add why hire a PDCA pamplet. and some other goodies to the propsal folder customer like information give it to them, on any kind of paper.
Use your own idea, I got some other companies proposals over the years And to be honest I felt ours were a better fit for our company. And you will feel the same way, Why, because you created it, not varsity painting or whoever.
Those franchise companies do have big pockets for glossy color advertisement, and nice paper to print on , But can they paint?
