Looks like EPA will delay enforcement of the RRP rule.
The delay would be for contractors who sign up for certification training classes by September 30th and complete it by Dec. 31st. U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma has been fighting for this delay for the past several months. Read Jim Myers article at Tulsa World Take care out there, Brandt |

I took the test last Friday. EPA says it has to be an 8 hour class. It could actually be done in a couple of hours. Oh well i got it behind me and sent my $300.00 to the EPA's new revenue stream. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The delay changes nothing (which explains why that idiot Inhofe claims credit for it): the enforcement and fines are in still in effect for everyone. The exception to being cited for a violation is if the contractor has already signed up for a class. All the other RRP reg,'s are still in force, for everyone.
