 Residential Homes Painted in a Year, searching for statistics |

I work for a paint company and I am doing some research about residential painting. Are there any statistics available regarding the total number of residential homes painted in the US or Washington in a given year? OR statistics that could help me estimate that, like paint purchased or company hours logged? Any ideas would help.
