PDCA - Plan, Do, Check, Act
Yes, PDCA has many meaning besides our own. For example: Professional Diving Coaches of America, Pug Dog Club of America, Professional Driver Carriers Association, etc. The best, after our own, is the PDCA Cycle - Plan, Do, Check, Act. Originally developed in the 1930's by Walter Shewhart and then successfully utilized and promoted in the 1950's by Quality Management Guru Dr. William Edward Deming. From problem faced to problem solved. Click Here |

Tech Tips
The long awaited Service Pack 2 for Windows XP is almost here. A version for IT professionals operating networks is aleady available. For single users, the service pack will be available soon, but how many people are eager to upgrade? This is Microsoft's largest ever service pack and probably one of their most awaited ones. SP2 has hundreds of fixes and adds much needed security to Windows XP. While all of this may sound good, most people are upgrading with caution. Many experts say that some software may have conflicts and not work at all with the new service pack due to the extra security the service pack adds to Windows. |

Work
“Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing."
