PDCA Accreditation - What's it all about?

The purpose of Accreditation is to provide appropriate recognition of qualified painting and decorating contractors and their companies. Accredited companies will distinguish themselves by the virtue of meeting certain qualifications and abiding by industry good practices as defined by their peers.

Accreditation is a professional designation of excellence.  PDCA’s Accreditation program is carefully crafted and encompasses every facet of the business of painting and decorating contracting. The purpose of Accreditation is to provide contractors a way to separate themselves and their companies from others in the field. Professional and industry designations are a proven means to create that degree of separation so important in a competitive environment.

PDCA determined that the best means to serve member professional interests was to create a PDCA Company Accreditation Program. The PDCA Company Accreditation program includes an educational component. All companies that bear the PDCA Accreditation symbol will have demonstrated excellence in company management, as well as, a passion for continuing education.

The road to attaining PDCA Accreditation includes secure submittal of a company’s business information, financial data, safety management and training, business insurances, and licensing where applicable.  It also includes completion of both required and elective PDCA Contractor College courses and testing.  The PDCA Contractor College was specifically designed to fit into today’s busy schedules, allowing everyone a personal choice of when and where to complete classes.   PDCA has structured Contractor College to be both a very valuable knowledge resource and to afford contractors maximum flexibility to attain needed knowledge.  The PDCA Contractor College provides the necessary ingredients in building a high performance contracting business.

Do you want to be the very best?

PDCA Accreditation is for you! The attainment of PDCA Accreditation for a painting and decorating company is no small feat. Becoming Accredited is like receiving your degree in painting and decorating contracting. To maintain PDCA Accreditation, companies are required to meet continuing education requirements and complete the renewal process.
